Requiem by L’Epée 1839
Requiem Black and Gold Edition

Requiem

Designed in collaboration with Kostas Metaxas, Requiem is a cast aluminum skull that displays time in the sockets of the eye. With an 8-day power reserve, Requiem must be rewound each week—offering an intimate moment with its key specifically placed at the base of the skull. The disc mechanism displays a «slow» jumping hour and sweeping minutes respectively. Machine cast aluminum (skull); gold plated, palladium plated or brass/stainless steel (movement), 7.5"h x 4.7"w x 6.3"d, 4 editions | $13,500-14,500

La Tour by L’Epée 1839
La Tour Noir Gold Edition

La Tour

La Tour is inspired by the minimalist architectural currents of the early 1920s. The timepiece's design is based on ideas from the Bauhaus and its artistic movement built around the creative principle that function dictates form. A succession of gear trains in La Tour dictates the various curves of the plates to form a single, uncluttered whole: the skeleton movement. The Swiss Made Caliber 1853 movement is made of 143 parts designed, fabricated and assembled by L’Epée, 4.25"h x 2.3"w x 1.9"d, 8 editions | $4,000
